Hotel Arlberg Lech, located in the Austrian alpine village of Lech, embraces scented woods, rich textures and handcrafted furnishings to deliver a modern interpretation of alpine chic. The family-owned hotel’s 51 guest rooms and suites are individually styled with unique details. Culinary direction from Chef Patrick Tober shapes three distinct dining venues, while Senses Spa features treatments created in collaboration with Austrian skincare expert Susanne Kaufmann. The spa’s holistic wellness facilities include treatment rooms, an indoor pool, extensive sauna and steam areas, a yoga studio, a well-equipped gym and several comfortable relaxation spaces for pre- or post-treatment downtime.
Breac.House in Dunfanaghy, on County Donegal’s Horn Head peninsula, is defined by charm and a strong connection to its landscape. Designed by local MacGabhann Architects, the house deliberately brings the outdoors in with expansive windows and terraces that frame the coastal scenery while shielding guests from the elements. Interior comforts include a snug library and a welcoming fireplace; three individually designed guestrooms incorporate local materials such as Fanad granite and Ardara quartzite, both quarried in South Donegal. Each morning guests receive a breakfast of homemade breads, pastries and yogurt presented in handmade clay pottery from a local maker, delivered through a hatch to the bedroom door for a cozy, personal start to the day.
