OpenSkies has opened a new premium business lounge at Paris Orly West Airport.
Situated just beyond security and a short walk from the boarding gate, the lounge is Manhattan-inspired and named 212 Orly West by OpenSkies. The name references Manhattan’s 212 area code and nods to the airline’s Biz Bed layout (2/2).
The space is designed to serve both work and relaxation needs. Dedicated work areas include plentiful power outlets and the ability to print wirelessly from personal devices. For downtime, passengers can unwind in comfortable seating zones arranged for privacy and convenience. The lounge provides a selection of freshly prepared snacks and complimentary beverages, including sodas, wines and spirits.
French architect Nelson Wilmotte led the design, featuring contemporary furnishings by Morgan upholstered with Kvadrat fabrics. Lighting from Jieldé and Gubi creates a warm, ambient atmosphere. In partnership with the Parisian gallery Galerie Polka Paris, the lounge will present a rotating display of photographs and paintings by contemporary artists, adding a cultural touch to the environment.
OpenSkies operates daily flights between New York (JFK and EWR) and Paris Orly (ORY) and offers three cabin classes: Biz Bed, Prem Plus and Economy. All passengers receive an iPad for in-flight entertainment. The 212 Orly West lounge is open daily from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., providing a comfortable pre-flight experience for travelers on transatlantic services.
