Oceana Opens Secluded Beachfront Luxury Residences in Santa Monica

The Oceana Beach Club Hotel has undergone a multimillion-dollar renovation and rebranding, with plans to reopen in May 2019.

Established in 1996, the original hotel provided travelers and locals a quiet retreat from everyday life. The reimagined property aims to reshape the West Coast hotel scene by blending the privacy of a coastal residence with the services and comforts of a luxury hotel.

Oceana will offer 70 ocean-view guest suites appointed with high-quality furnishings and thoughtful finishes. The property’s amenities include a private restaurant, an outdoor lounge and swimming pool, and a modern fitness center—designed to deliver both comfort and convenience to guests seeking relaxation and wellness by the Pacific.

“We are thrilled to soon welcome world travelers to the new Oceana that will offer exclusive access to the best of Santa Monica’s celebrated beach lifestyle,” said Jim Lippman, chairman and CEO of JRK Hotel Group, in a statement. “With an authentic take on intimate, residential-style luxury steps from the Pacific Ocean, Oceana will bring a new caliber of 5-star hospitality to the iconic beaches of Southern California.”

The hotel caters to guests looking for both luxury and privacy, offering eight distinct room types. Options range from 500-square-foot studio suites to spacious two-bedroom ocean-view suites, accommodating solo travelers, couples, and families.

Reservations for the newly renovated Oceana Beach Club Hotel are open for stays beginning May 1.
