Norwegian Reward, the loyalty program for Norwegian, has launched a new partnership with Avis Car Rental. Under the agreement, Reward members can now earn points toward Norwegian flights whenever they book car rentals with Avis worldwide.
Starting last month, Norwegian Reward members can earn up to 10% CashPoints on Avis bookings and receive up to a 15% discount on rental rates. The partnership also includes a complimentary additional driver on reservations for Reward members, helping simplify travel plans and lower overall costs.
The collaboration includes tiers of recognition for frequent flyers. Members who take more than six Norwegian flights in a year will receive an invitation to join the Avis Preferred Plus tier for at least one year. Those who fly with Norwegian 18 times or more in a year will be eligible for an invitation to join the Avis President’s Club for at least one year.
Brede Huser, managing director of Norwegian Reward, said the partnership builds on the program’s ongoing growth. With more than 8 million Reward members worldwide, adding car rentals to the range of partner services gives members additional ways to save on travel. The Avis agreement allows members to earn CashPoints on car rentals, extending the value of the Reward program beyond flights and helping members reduce overall travel expenses.
