Arrival/Check-in: I drove from LAX and found the Montage quickly thanks to clear directions from the hotel. Pulling up felt like arriving at an elegant, private residence. Valet attendants promptly took my car and welcomed me, while the front desk handled my reservation efficiently. A staff member escorted me to my suite and completed a brief in-room check-in; my luggage arrived moments later. (30/30)
Guest Quarters: The hotel evokes the glamour of classic Hollywood while offering every modern convenience. My Garden Suite provided generous, comfortable living space. The king-sized bed and bedroom could be closed off from the living area with folding doors for privacy. A charming terrace overlooked Beverly Canon Gardens, and the living room included an L-shaped sofa that converted to a queen bed. Both the bedroom and living area featured large LCD televisions and ample workspace. The bathroom was luxurious, with a separate shower, a deep soaking tub, mosaic tile accents, marble surfaces, and warm wood finishes. (30/30)
Services/Amenities: The property offers an outstanding spa, a fully equipped fitness center, and in-house celebrity hairstyling services. The rooftop pool and private cabanas are highlights, and the Conservatory Grill provides a pleasant lunch spot where you can enjoy the pool scene without getting your hair wet. The food was satisfying, and the rooftop atmosphere added to the experience. The lobby lounge, staffed by attentive and friendly team members, is an ideal place for informal meetings or to relax. The business center is tucked away and took a moment to locate, but once found the staff provided prompt assistance. One of the Montage’s greatest advantages is its location: within easy walking distance of Rodeo Drive’s boutiques, fine dining, and the celebrity sightings Beverly Hills is famous for. If you prefer not to walk in heels, the hotel’s Maybach is sometimes available to drive guests around the neighborhood. (37/40)
The Experience: From arrival to departure I was consistently pleased with the stay. The hotel accommodated my business needs, providing a welcoming and efficient environment for meetings. My suite served as a peaceful retreat after busy days, and several thoughtful details stood out—most notably a monogrammed pillowcase bearing my initials, a personal touch that made the stay feel special. The concierge offered creative, practical recommendations for dining, entertainment, and directions, which made planning easy. Overall, the Montage Beverly Hills functioned as an excellent base for both business and leisure, and I look forward to returning.
