Guests staying at select Marriott hotels can now access a curated selection of TED Talks and related TED media. Each quarter presents a new theme designed to inspire travelers with fresh ideas about innovation, travel and entrepreneurship. Later this year and into the next, Marriott properties in Seattle, London, Dubai, Bangkok and Santiago will host TED Fellows salons, offering guests opportunities to engage directly with TED speakers.

TED content does not only entertain, but educates and engages on topics that are relevant to our guests. Guests will soon be able to stream a collection of TED Talks, themed quotes and curated blog content through in-room entertainment systems and hotel Wi-Fi. Marriott will also produce original TED content tailored to the partnership and share it through Marriott Hotels’ social channels. In addition, corporate meeting planners can incorporate TED-inspired assets into events, leveraging the content and themes to enrich conferences and gatherings.
This collaboration aims to combine Marriott’s hospitality reach with TED’s influential ideas, creating moments of learning and inspiration for business travelers, tourists and meeting attendees alike. By integrating TED programming into the guest experience and event services, Marriott seeks to offer more meaningful engagement and intellectual stimulation during travel, helping guests return home with new perspectives and actionable insights.
