Marriott Opens New Luxury Hotel in Barranquilla, Colombia

Barranquilla Marriott Hotel has opened its doors in Barranquilla, Colombia. Set among lush tropical landscaping, the property combines contemporary design with local touches to offer a welcoming, modern stay.

The hotel features 191 guestrooms and nine suites finished in warm wood tones and flooded with natural light. Rooms include open closet designs, technology-enabled workspaces and thoughtful amenities. Through Marriott’s partnership with TED, guests can also enjoy curated in-room TED content for inspiration and entertainment.

Dining options include two restaurants and a bar. Amira Restaurant serves elevated dishes inspired by local flavors. Meira Café celebrates Colombia’s coffee culture with a selection of coffees, breads and pastries. The Rum Room offers curated rum and liquor tastings. Eligible guests—those staying on a paid rate and Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite, Titanium Elite and Ambassador Elite members—can access M Club, a lounge offering complimentary food and beverage service.
