Hotel Zachary has opened as part of the Tribute Portfolio in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood. The 173-room property combines thoughtful design, convenient on-site dining and a prime location for visitors headed to Wrigley Field.
The hotel’s aesthetic draws inspiration from Zachary Taylor Davis, the Chicago-born architect who designed Wrigley Field. Throughout the property you’ll find custom artwork, family photographs and reproductions of Davis’ original blueprints and sketches, creating a timeless, locally rooted atmosphere.

Dining options on-site cater to a range of tastes and occasions. The Bar at Hotel Zachary serves international casual fare such as sandwiches, salads and appetizers alongside classic cocktails. The Alma Room, named for Davis’ wife, provides an elegant setting for breakfast and intimate gatherings. Mordecai is a two-level cocktail bar and restaurant accessed from the lobby, focusing on American bar cuisine. For something playful and indulgent, West Town Bakery and Tap pairs cake balls and doughnuts with spiked milkshakes and creative bakery cocktails.
The hotel’s 173 guestrooms, including 20 suites, are finished in a warm palette with bright blue accents that nod to the neighborhood’s energy. Eclectic furnishings include ivy-green headboards, pinstripe carpeting and leather wing chairs, while floor-to-ceiling windows bring in natural light. A range of room types accommodates different needs: Wrigley Suites feature private balconies, and Marquee Suites provide a residential layout with separate lounge and dining areas and views of Wrigley Field.
