Lyft has introduced a new, upscale ride option called Lyft Premier.
Designed for riders who want a more luxurious experience, Lyft Premier pairs passengers with higher-end sedans and SUVs instead of standard vehicles. Typical Premier cars include models such as the BMW 5 Series, Audi A6, Lexus ES and Cadillac Escalade, all equipped with leather seats and premium interiors.
The service launched in several major markets, including San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York City, Washington, D.C., and Chicago, and Lyft plans to expand Premier to additional cities in the coming weeks and months.
Riders can choose Lyft Premier from the Lyft app alongside other ride types like Lyft Line (shared rides), standard Lyft and Lyft Plus (for larger groups). All Premier vehicles provide seating for four passengers.
Lyft Premier is intended for customers seeking a quieter, more comfortable journey with higher-end vehicles and amenities.
