Marriott International announced that construction will begin in the fourth quarter of 2017 on the 16-story, $282 million JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek Resort, a new luxury option for visitors to Orlando.

The 516-room hotel will be part of a 482-acre mixed-use resort community near Orlando’s major theme parks. The property was planned to open in the first quarter of 2020.

The resort’s accommodation mix includes 80 suites, among them two presidential suites and 16 two-bedroom suites that can be connected to form four-bedroom family units, providing flexibility for families and groups.

Dining and amenities will be designed to complement the upscale guest experience. Planned offerings include several food and beverage outlets, an indoor/outdoor restaurant, and a rooftop bar on the ninth floor. The property will also feature a full-service spa with 10 treatment rooms, a fitness center, and extensive meeting and event space to serve both leisure and business travelers.

Located close to Orlando’s attractions, the JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek Resort aims to deliver a blend of luxury, thoughtful programming, and convenient access to the area’s entertainment and theme parks, positioning it as a compelling choice for travelers seeking an elevated stay in the region.
