The Luxury Collection has added Hotel Talisa in Vail, Colorado, as its first ski-destination resort in North America. Positioned as the only true ski-in/ski-out luxury property in Vail, the hotel caters to skiers with on-property conveniences including a private chairlift, a dedicated ski concierge and on-site rental services.
“Vail is one of the most luxurious and thrilling mountain towns in the United States, making it a natural fit for The Luxury Collection and our Global Explorers who seek authentic experiences and connections to all types of destinations,” said Anthony Ingham, global brand leader, The Luxury Collection. “This latest addition to our Luxury Collection portfolio marks our first ski destination property in North America as we continue to expand our footprint in captivating destinations across the United States.”
Recently completed renovations totaling $65 million refreshed the property’s alpine aesthetic and modern comforts. The hotel now offers 285 guestrooms styled with refined mountain decor and practical amenities such as in-room gear storage and soaking tubs. Suites elevate the stay with expanded seating areas, large flat-screen televisions and luxurious bathrooms featuring oversized rainfall showers.
While skiing and snowboarding remain central draws, Hotel Talisa supports year-round outdoor adventures. Guests can enjoy mountain biking, hiking and kayaking in warmer months, while the resort’s programming includes weekly fly-fishing demonstrations, complimentary morning yoga, social hours, poolside events and live-music brunches.
The on-site spa presents alpine-inspired treatments that use locally sourced botanicals and wildflowers, delivering a sense of place through natural ingredients. For fitness and wellness, the resort features a 58,000-square-foot athletic club with extensive facilities for training and recovery.
Dining at Hotel Talisa is designed to reflect regional flavors and international influences. Gessner, the hotel’s full-service restaurant, blends Colorado ingredients with European techniques. The Fireside Lounge offers après-ski atmosphere and curated cocktail menus, while The Market provides gourmet provisions for mornings and afternoons.
With its combination of direct mountain access, upgraded accommodations, seasonal programming and a focus on local ingredients and wellness, Hotel Talisa represents The Luxury Collection’s expanded presence in premier North American mountain destinations.
