Langham Place, New York, Fifth Avenue has partnered with Roche Bobois to introduce two newly designed Roche Bobois Suites at the hotel. Scheduled to open in September, each suite occupies part of the hotel’s top two floors and spans approximately 1,900 square feet.
Daniel Lombardi, head of the trade and contract division at Roche Bobois, commented on the collaboration: “We are truly excited about this collaboration with Langham Place. As a reference for sophistication and contemporary elegance, there could be no better partner for our first hospitality project in the United States. Our two companies share the same goal: to make guests feel at home while offering the highest level of comfort. We focused on preserving the design and craftsmanship that have defined Roche Bobois for more than 50 years.”
The suites, already generous in size, currently include two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a powder room, living and dining areas, a full-service kitchen, washer and dryer, and floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the Empire State Building. Following the redesign, each suite will feature new living room furnishings and a formal dining room that seats ten. Bedrooms will include new beds with headboards integrated into leather wall coverings. Decorative updates will include brocade artwork, custom-mounted entertainment units, draperies influenced by men’s tailoring, and refreshed accent pillows and throws to complete the look.
Richard Bussiere, managing director of Langham Place, New York, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership: “We are honored to be partnered with such a reputable design powerhouse as Roche Bobois. Their flagship store is a landmark in our neighborhood, and their French art de vivre provides a wonderful counterpoint to our existing design aesthetic. We are confident our guests will be delighted by the Roche Bobois Suites at Langham Place.”
