Mother’s Day falls this weekend, and The Jefferson, DC will mark the occasion with a special pop-up on Saturday, May 10. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., floral illustrator Meredith Wing will be on site creating one of her signature “flower girl” illustrations as a complimentary keepsake for mothers attending brunch.

These unique mementos pair real pressed flowers with Wing’s delicate illustration style, portraying a mother framed by the hotel’s iconic ornate gates. Wing’s creative collaborations span a range of lifestyle and beauty brands, reflecting her experience in botanical illustration for editorial and commercial projects.
In addition to the pop-up, The Jefferson’s signature restaurant The Greenhouse will offer a four-course Mother’s Day brunch on May 11. Executive Chef Fabio Salvatore has put together a curated menu that begins with a selection of pastries for the table, followed by an appetizer course that ranges from savory sea scallops to a sweet strawberry pancake.
Main course options include Mediterranean branzino and baked Amalfi gnocchi, while desserts designed for sharing include lemoncello tropézienne and açai berry coconut chia seed pudding, among other seasonal offerings. The menu is crafted to balance refined flavors with comforting touches suitable for a celebratory brunch.
Brunch reservations are available through OpenTable. Pricing is $140 per adult and $60 per child (12 and under). Guests are encouraged to book in advance to secure a table for Mother’s Day weekend.
