Once aboard Regent’s Seven Seas Grandeur, it quickly becomes clear the ship lives up to its name. The recently launched vessel offers jewel-box opulence in its public spaces, while cabins emphasize quiet luxury and practical design—except for the individually decorated top-tier suites, which are more flamboyant. Designed by Studio DADO and built by Fincantieri in Ancona, Italy, the ship accommodates up to 746 guests and is served by 548 crew, delivering a high level of personalized service.

The ship’s design blends bold color palettes with contemporary lighting, curated accent pieces and museum-quality art. These elements connect the glamour of the 1920s with 21st-century sensibilities throughout the lobby and larger public areas. Notable pieces include the first Fabergé Egg permanently displayed at sea, Picasso works in the Prime 7 Steakhouse bar area, and nearly 1,600 additional artworks that guests can explore via Art Experience, a digital art tour accessible through the Regent Mobile App.
Most accommodations begin at 307 square feet and combine timeless style with practical amenities. The top-tier suites are expansive, reaching up to 4,443 square feet, and include butler service and other elevated perks. Dining venues reflect the ship’s refined aesthetic: Chartreuse, the French restaurant, features camellia motifs and jewelry-like light fixtures echoing the main atrium chandelier; Prime 7 channels both the golden age of train and ship travel and classic New York steakhouses; Pacific Rim welcomes guests with a bonsai cherry-tree sculpture and contemporary Asian-fusion touches; and The Compass Rose main dining room presents an abundantly decorative setting.

The ship’s white-tablecloth restaurants favor classic continental preparations, with Prime 7 standing out among the specialty venues. Chartreuse serves a handful of ambitious lunch specials—on a preview cruise that included a Malaysian beef stew—while La Veranda transitions from a buffet breakfast to the Italian Sette Mare by night; its breakfast buffet includes a notable Bloody Mary station. The adjacent poolside grill offers a hearty breakfast buffet, well-prepared burgers and international lunch options such as moussaka and a Korean-style chicken sandwich. The Culinary Arts Kitchen is a highlight: hands-on classes and demonstrations emphasize technique and flavor. Chef John Stephano’s sessions resemble a professional cooking-school experience, focusing on straightforward recipes that yield excellent results and form the basis for more complex dishes.

The Serene Spa & Wellness complex includes a spacious, well-equipped fitness center and a menu of indulgent treatments and massages. Entertainment options span several bars with live music and a main theater whose shows tend toward jukebox-style musical productions, staged in an intimate, nightclub-like seating arrangement. Included amenities enhance the value: unlimited complimentary shore excursions at every port, round-trip business-class air from the United States and Canada on intercontinental flights, valet laundry, gratuities and ground transfers. Concierge-level suites and above receive one-night pre-cruise hotel offers. In its inaugural year the ship sails itineraries such as New York to Barcelona, Miami Caribbean voyages, Athens to Istanbul, Barcelona to Venice and Rome to Barcelona.
