American Airlines Debuts Spacious Flagship Lounge at Dallas Fort Worth Airport

American Airlines has opened a new Flagship Lounge at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. Located in Terminal D, the lounge offers a premium environment for passengers traveling in Flagship First and Flagship Business, featuring comfortable seating, shower facilities, dining options, a full beverage program and other amenities designed for relaxation and productivity.

Flagship First Dining remains an exclusive offering for Flagship First customers. That complimentary, full-service restaurant experience highlights Texas-inspired menus prepared to order, providing a quiet, elevated dining option before departure.

“It made sense for us to go all-in on the Flagship experience at our largest hub,” said Kurt Stache, senior vice president of marketing, loyalty and sales for American Airlines. “More of American’s premium customers fly through DFW than anywhere else, and we think they’ll agree the Flagship experience is unlike any other.”

In addition to the new Flagship Lounge, American Airlines reopened a renovated Admirals Club in Terminal D. The updated Admirals Club features a refreshed design, increased power outlets and complimentary snacks that showcase local flavors, plus a selection of regional craft beers for members and eligible passengers.

These improvements at Dallas/Fort Worth are part of a broader expansion of American’s premium lounge portfolio. New Flagship Lounges have also opened in recent years at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Miami International Airport (MIA) and Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD), giving premium travelers more consistent access to elevated lounge services across the airline’s major hubs.

The Terminal D Flagship Lounge aims to serve travelers seeking comfort, high-quality dining and convenient amenities while connecting through one of American’s busiest airports. With seating areas designed for both work and relaxation, private shower suites and curated food and beverage offerings, the space reinforces the airline’s focus on an enhanced pre-flight experience for its premium customers.
