The Galt House Hotel presents a full schedule of holiday events throughout December. As Kentucky’s largest hotel and Louisville’s only waterfront property, the Galt House invites visitors to celebrate the season with festive dining, family activities and New Year’s Eve entertainment.
Breakfast with Santa
Join Santa for a warm holiday breakfast at Walker’s Exchange. Guests can enjoy a freshly prepared meal and have photos taken with Santa by the fireplace. Breakfast with Santa takes place on Dec. 5, 12 and 19 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Prices begin at $30 per adult and $12 for children ages 6–12. Children 5 and under dine free.
Christmas week lunch and dinner
From Dec. 20 through Christmas Eve, Swizzle restaurant offers special holiday menus. Lunch is served 11:30 a.m.–2 p.m. Dec. 20–24, and Christmas Eve dinner is available starting at 4:30 p.m. and continuing until close on Dec. 24. The seasonal menu features holiday favorites and thoughtfully prepared entrees ideal for family gatherings.

New Year’s Eve celebrations
The hotel offers multiple ways to celebrate New Year’s Eve. At Swizzle, guests can enjoy a prime rib dinner, specialty cocktails and live music; the special dinner service runs from 4:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. For a lively all-day option, Jockey Silks Bourbon Bar hosts a New Year’s Eve party with Champagne specials, a happy hour from 3–6 p.m. and a reverse happy hour from midnight–2 a.m. Jockey Silks will be open 11 a.m.–2 a.m. on New Year’s Eve.
The Conservatory, the hotel bar with panoramic waterfront and city views, presents a New Year’s Eve party from 8 p.m.–2 a.m., featuring music, drink specials, a balloon drop and a Champagne toast at midnight. These varied experiences give guests options ranging from a relaxed evening with views to a lively late-night celebration.
