In-Suite Gourmet Dining: Professional Chefs Deliver to Your Suite

Grabbing takeout and dining out are part of the fun on vacation, but after several nights travelers often crave a freshly prepared, home-cooked meal. Club Wyndham now offers an in-resort private chef option designed for guests who want elevated, personalized dining without leaving their suite.

Club Wyndham has teamed up with Take a Chef to bring private, chef-driven meals directly to guests. Take a Chef, founded by a multicultural team of culinary and hospitality professionals, connects travelers to a large network of personal chefs worldwide. The platform streamlines everything—from menu design and ingredient sourcing to on-site preparation, table service and clean up—so guests can relax while a professional prepares and serves a memorable meal.

The service is flexible to match many occasions. Whether you want a casual Mediterranean mezze by the pool, a hearty Italian dinner after a day of outdoor activity, or an intimate French meal for two, local chefs can craft a menu to suit the moment. For a more spontaneous experience, guests can choose a “surprise me” option and let the chef create a signature menu based on their specialties.

Booking is simple: complete an online form with event details such as location, date, preferred cuisine, budget and any dietary restrictions. Chefs from the area then propose menus tailored to your request. You can review chefs’ biographies, photos and reviews, communicate directly to refine the menu and schedule, and book the professional who best matches your needs.

This private chef option is available at 14 Club Wyndham resorts across the United States, including Club Wyndham Austin, Club Wyndham Kona Hawaiian Resort and Club Wyndham Midtown 45 in New York. Seasonal menus highlight regional ingredients and pairings—at Club Wyndham Smoky Mountains, chef Alexandra Wells offers fall specialties like chicken tortilla soup to warm guests after a crisp day exploring local harvest events. Guests at Club Wyndham Kingsgate in Williamsburg can enjoy a harvest-focused menu featuring roasted squash and rice-stuffed peppers that complement the area’s craft beers.

To encourage guests to try the service, Club Wyndham is offering up to $25,000 in private chef credits. Guests who book a qualifying stay in 2023 may receive a complimentary credit that can be redeemed for a farm-to-table meal for up to four people, prepared in their suite. After booking, travelers receive a code and instructions to reserve a chef, schedule the meal and plan the menu. Chefs are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, so guests are encouraged to book promptly. Because Club Wyndham suites include full-service kitchens stocked with cookware and utensils, chefs can work efficiently and deliver a seamless, restaurant-quality experience in the comfort of your rental.
