IHG Launches Regent Spa and Wellness at Luxury Hotels

IHG is continuing to reimagination of the Regent brand with the launch of Regent Spa & Wellness, a new global wellness concept that will be introduced at select Regent hotels and resorts.

“Wellbeing is increasingly integral to how and why we travel. Through Regent Spa & Wellness we are introducing extraordinary new ways for our guests to optimize and excel in how they feel,” said Tom Rowntree, vice president of Global Luxury Brands, IHG Hotels & Resorts. “This new concept builds on IHG’s broader efforts to reimagine Regent for — and inspired by — today’s most discerning guests. Regent Spa & Wellness leverages the expertise of Raison d’Etre to bring a remarkable offering to our upper-luxury guests. I am excited by its potential to deepen our shared outlook — that life is at its best when we rise above the noise — in Bali and beyond.”

Raison d’Etre, IHG’s dedicated team of wellness specialists, designed the Regent Spa & Wellness program.

The Regent experience follows a three-step treatment journey that begins before the hands-on therapies. The Reset, a signature meditative sound therapy, takes place in pod-like private waiting areas to guide guests into a calm, receptive state. Treatments then unfold through a carefully curated flow that blends healing gemstones, soothing aromas, restorative light frequencies and vibrating crystal energy. Each session ends with a gentle reawakening before guests move into the Relax Dome to extend their restorative experience.

The first Regent Spa & Wellness opens at Regent Bali Canggu, with planned rollouts in Jeddah, Kuala Lumpur and Kyoto over the next five years. Signature treatments at Regent Bali Canggu include The Massage Revolution, performed on a warm quartz sand bed; The Crystal Cure, which combines scrub and advanced massage techniques; and The Healing Zen, designed to calm and restore a stressed mind.

Family-focused options include The Together Massage, a side-by-side soothing treatment adapted for a child and parent to share quality time. The Facial Revolution combines potent botanical actives from Kerstin Florian with LED light therapy and EMS technologies to deliver visible results and a restorative facial experience.

Wellness at Regent extends beyond the spa, with Personal Havens integrated throughout hotels and resorts. These private hideaways offer guests quiet spaces to cocoon, meditate and reset in solitude, reinforcing the brand’s focus on holistic wellbeing.
