Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort, Spa & Casino has introduced iPalapa, a new online service that simplifies how guests choose seating on the beach or by the pool. The mobile-friendly platform allows visitors to view available palapas and umbrellas on a virtual map, select their preferred location and check in from their smartphones.
Guests can access iPalapa by registering at hyattbeachservices.com. Each day at 4 p.m., the system opens for reservations for the following day, showing exact locations and real-time availability so users can pick the best spot for sun or shade.
“As many hotels embrace digital tools, our aim is to streamline the guest experience, boost satisfaction and minimize time spent waiting in lines,” said Joel Bunde, general manager of Hyatt Regency Aruba. “iPalapa lets guests request shade services easily from anywhere, on- or off-property.”
The resort’s towel hut will continue to operate, opening at 7:30 a.m., and guests may also make reservations through the hotel’s recreation department if they prefer personal assistance.
Set on 12 acres of beachfront, Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort, Spa & Casino features 357 guestrooms equipped with LCD televisions, spacious bathrooms and the signature Grand Bed. The property’s open-air lobby with natural stone floors and Caribbean design complements a three-level pool complex, ZoiA Spa and fitness center, tennis courts, a private beach, a casino and 10 food and beverage outlets.
