Hyatt Opens Its Third All-Inclusive Resort — What to Know

The Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta has opened in Mexico as a family-friendly, all-inclusive resort on the site of the former Dreams Puerto Vallarta after an approximate $20 million expansion. To mark the opening, the resort is offering savings of up to 55 percent off published rack rates for bookings made through January 9, 2015.

Located on the secluded Las Estacas Beach in Puerto Vallarta’s Golden Zone, the property features 335 spacious suites designed for comfort. Guest bathrooms have a spa-like feel with stone finishes, walk-in showers and large double vanities. Dining options include both à la carte and buffet restaurants, offering a variety of culinary choices for guests of all ages.

Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta provides a wide range of amenities and activities. The resort includes a fitness center, a full-service spa, entertainment programs, and supervised children’s activities. There are adults-only areas for quieter relaxation, as well as meeting and conference facilities for business events. On- and off-site recreational opportunities are available for guests seeking adventure beyond the resort grounds.

Carlos Cabrera, senior vice president of all-inclusive operations for Hyatt, said the new property is the third Hyatt all-inclusive destination in Mexico and expressed enthusiasm about returning the Hyatt brand to Puerto Vallarta. He noted that the renovation elevates the all-inclusive experience, creating a destination that suits guests looking both to unwind and to pursue active excursions.
