Hyatt Centric Key West Resort & Spa Reopens After Renovation

Hyatt Centric Key West Resort & Spa is the newest addition to Hyatt’s lifestyle collection. Following a multimillion-dollar renovation, the property—formerly known as Hyatt Key West Resort & Spa—has been reimagined under the Hyatt Centric brand to deliver locally inspired travel experiences.

Situated in historic Old Town on the waterfront, the resort features 120 guestrooms, many with private balconies that provide striking sunset views. Guest rooms have been refreshed with island-inspired color palettes, updated furnishings and artwork that reflect Key West’s character. Thoughtful amenities include curated journals, Drybar Buttercup blow dryers, eco-friendly bath products and other details designed for modern travelers.

“We are incredibly proud to transition into a Hyatt Centric property and strengthen our offerings for the experiential traveler seeking localized experiences,” said Carlos Morales, general manager of Hyatt Centric Key West Resort & Spa. “Our resort’s prime location combined with the Hyatt Centric brand philosophy allows us to deliver the best lifestyle hotel experience on the island, and we’re excited to show our guests the best of Key West both on-property and off.”

The Blue Mojito Pool Bar and Grill received a major redesign with a coastal palette of cool blues, sea and lime greens, and beach-chic neutrals. Enhancements include improved sight lines to the water, new booths and tables, island-themed murals, updated seating, an indoor chandelier, outdoor ceiling fans, new televisions and wind protection along the waterfront to enhance comfort and ambiance.

Jala Spa has been relocated to the ground floor and expanded to include a third treatment room plus a dedicated manicure and pedicure station. The spa’s design mirrors elements used throughout the resort, incorporating elegant furniture, updated shower fixtures, refined finishes in treatment areas and bathrooms, and sleek wood flooring for a calm, cohesive environment.

The property’s combination of a central Old Town location, refreshed public spaces and accommodations, plus the Hyatt Centric focus on local discovery, positions the resort as a gateway for guests who want to explore Key West’s culture, cuisine and coastal scenery while enjoying modern comforts and service.
