For an additional $45 per night over the standard room rate, guests can stay close to the action and prepare for inaugural festivities. The package includes deluxe accommodations at any participating Kimpton D.C. hotel, a bottle of bubbly on arrival, commemorative 2017 presidential inauguration sunglasses, a $50 daily dining credit to the hotel restaurant, and late check-out on Jan. 21–23. At Kimpton Glover Park Hotel, the Red, White and View Inauguration offer highlights the hotel’s elevated location, which overlooks the city and provides strong vantage points for the National Mall. The package includes a city-view guestroom with views toward the Mall, a personal telescope for watching the ceremony and fireworks, Champagne on arrival, evening limo service, a personal stylist with access to top Georgetown shopping, a choice of an in-room facial or body scrub to prepare for the balls, commemorative Kimpton Glover Park-branded cashmere gloves and scarves, and dinner for two at Casolare. This package is priced at $2,000 per night.
Couples seeking a glamorous stay can choose the Presidential Power Couple package at Kimpton Carlyle Dupont Circle. The offer features a four-night stay in the hotel’s newly added three-room Oka Doner Suite, which showcases artwork by Michele Oka Doner. It also includes up to $10,000 toward a designer gown and suit with fittings, limo service during the stay, hair and makeup services, nightly Champagne turndown, private concierge services, and a $1,000 dining credit to The Riggsby. The complete package is priced at $25,000.
Kimpton Hotel Monaco’s Presidential Suite Package showcases the hotel’s redesigned corner one-bedroom Robert Mills Presidential Suite. The package includes arrival amenities such as a keepsake jewelry box, evening bath turndown service in the suite’s clawfoot bathtub, private dining for four at the hotel’s new restaurant and bar Dirty Habit, an in-suite reception for up to four guests with customized cocktails, a post-inauguration outdoor fire pit gathering for up to eight guests with hot cocktails and a late-night chef’s tasting, and a commemorative inauguration cashmere throw for each guest. The package is priced at $15,000 (including tax) and is non-refundable. There is also a fifth-night-free promotion available without the package extras for $2,017 per night for stays Jan. 17–23.
The Presidential Treatment package at Kimpton Mason and Rook Hotel is aimed at travelers who want to splurge on luxe services. The offering includes luxury accommodations in a premier spa suite, two in-room spa treatments, in-room hair and makeup for inaugural events, a $100 daily dining credit for room service or the hotel’s cocktail bar Radiator, a VIP-curated nighttime tour of the nation’s capital, after-hours shopping at Shinola’s Logan Circle store, an exclusive Mason and Rook commemorative inauguration-branded bottle of Jos. A. Magnus Bourbon, and access to a selection of luxury watches from the hotel’s Shinola Watch Butler for use during outings. Kimpton Hotel Palomar is offering two high-end options. The Family First package—priced at $25,000—provides five-night accommodations for up to 12 guests, including the newly renovated Presidential Suite plus four connecting rooms, and may include a free fifth night in the suite. The package also features a private photographer, an in-room private welcome reception with customized dining, reserved private dining space for dinner and breakfast at Urbana, and daily fresh flower delivery.
The Hotel Palomar’s Inaugural Ball Vanity Spa Suite package, also $25,000 including tax, centers on the new Vanity Spa Suite and delivers in-room professional hair and makeup, on-demand tailoring for last-minute needs, customizable in-room Champagne courtesy of Urbana, and bites from Urbana’s chef while preparing for events.
Each of these Kimpton inauguration packages is designed to give guests a tailored, convenient and memorable experience during one of Washington’s busiest weeks, with varying levels of amenities and price points to suit different needs and preferences.
