Hotels Across the US Celebrate National Margarita Day with Specials

Feb. 22 is National Margarita Day, and hotels across the United States are marking the occasion with creative signature margaritas.

The Westin Grand Cayman features a Cayman Thyme-Infused Margarita made with tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, thyme-infused simple syrup and two dashes of grapefruit bitters. In San Antonio, Éilan Hotel & Spa pours a Passion Chili Margarita crafted from homemade lemonade, jalapeño-infused simple syrup and passion fruit puree for a sweet-spicy balance.

At The Inn at Palmetto Bluff, a Montage Resort, the Strawberry Basic Balsamic Margarita blends muddled basil, strawberries, lime juice, triple sec, balsamic vinegar and agave syrup for a bright, herbaceous profile. Montage Deer Valley’s signature margarita pairs tequila with ginger, grapefruit, orange liqueur and organic agave nectar for a citrusy, slightly spicy twist.

B Ocean Resort in Fort Lauderdale’s Dos Caminos offers a Margarita Sampler so guests can taste a range of variations, while the B Resort & Spa in Lake Buena Vista presents a Margarita Thyme that combines mint, blackberry liqueur, lemon, lime and agave nectar for a fruity, aromatic pour.

Loews Hotels & Resorts are celebrating with specialty margaritas at properties in California, Arizona and Minneapolis, each highlighting regional flavors and house-made ingredients. Omni Hotels taking part in National Margarita Day include Omni Rancho Las Palmas, Omni Grove Park Inn and Omni Bedford Springs, where bartenders create seasonal, hotel-specific versions of the classic cocktail.

The Beverly Hills Hotel pours a Primavera Margarita featuring pineapple-infused tequila, Grand Marnier, raspberries, lemon, agave and a salted rim for a tropical, balanced drink. In Southern California, Lake Arrowhead Resort & Spa serves a Wildfire Margarita made with habanero-infused tequila for guests who enjoy a pronounced heat.

Enchantment Resort’s Prickly Pear Margarita combines tequila, lime and prickly pear puree for a subtly sweet, fruit-forward option. At Hotel Vermont the cocktail called Early Retirement puts a grapefruit-forward margarita in a novel direction by adding Vermont Spirits Black Snake Whiskey, creating an oakier, spirit-forward finish.

From herb-infused syrups and fruit purees to chili- and pepper-infused tequilas, hotels nationwide are reinventing the margarita with inventive ingredients and local influences, offering celebratory options for National Margarita Day.
