Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin has reopened its freshly redesigned Adlon Pool wellness complex, located on the hotel’s lower level directly opposite the Brandenburg Gate. After an extensive eight-month renovation, the wellness area now presents a contemporary retreat for relaxation and fitness.
Spanning nearly 10,000 square feet, the Adlon Pool wellness retreat features a striking black-tiled swimming pool, a fireplace lounge, dedicated relaxation zones, a whirlpool, multiple saunas, an ice waterfall and an ice plunge pool. Guests can experience a variety of immersive showers that offer changing lighting, ambient soundscapes and variable rain effects. The facility also includes a 24-hour, state-of-the-art gym equipped with modern fitness machines and free weights, with personal training services available on request. A pool bar serves refreshments and a curated selection of local specialties and beverages.

“We have been eagerly awaiting the reopening of our wellness area and are delighted to be able to harmoniously complement our ‘Adlon Spa by Resense’ with the newly designed Adlon Pool in the same, ultra-modern style to offer our guests an all-around perfect relaxation experience,” said Karina Ansos, director of Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin.
The redesign was a collaboration between Kempinski Hotel Group, DH Deutsche Development Holding and interior designer Anne Maria Jagdfeld. Jagdfeld described the concept as a modern, timeless retreat that complements the existing spa facilities and creates a new meditative atmosphere focused on wellbeing.
