Hilton’s upscale Curio Collection has arrived in Belize, introducing elevated style and thoughtful design to one of the country’s most sought-after destinations.
The Mahogany Bay Resort & Beach Club, Curio Collection by Hilton welcomes travelers to its scenic setting on Ambergris Caye, Belize’s largest island.
Set across 60 lush acres framed by coconut palms and tropical vegetation, the waterfront resort offers 205 cottage- and villa-style rooms. The property also features 10 distinct dining options, dedicated bay and beach clubs, and flexible meeting and event spaces designed for both leisure and gatherings.
“As one of the island’s premier high-end resorts, this distinctive property delivers unique experiences that reflect the Curio Collection ethos and celebrate Belizean culture,” said Mark Nogal, global head of Curio Collection by Hilton. The resort emphasizes sustainable design and provides exclusive access to a pristine private beach.
On-site amenities include the Bay Club, which offers a pool, bar and spa treatments, and a private white-sand Beach Club reachable by a short ride from the resort marina. The Great House contains a signature restaurant and bar, adaptable event rooms, and a multilevel wrap-around veranda that overlooks the grounds and shoreline.
Guests can move easily around the property and to nearby San Pedro—less than two miles away—using golf carts, electric bikes and pedal bikes available from the resort. San Pedro is the only town on the island, offering local shops and services within a short distance.
The resort provides a range of island activities, including excursions to the Belize Barrier Reef, diving, fly fishing, paddleboarding and other water sports. Nature enthusiasts can also enjoy birdwatching, with more than 300 native bird species recorded on the island.
Convenience is a hallmark of the location: the resort is just a 10-minute transfer from San Pedro Airport, making it easily accessible for visitors arriving by air.
