Hilton Worldwide has signed an agreement to bring The Resort at Mahogany Bay Village into the Curio Collection by Hilton, marking the first Hilton Worldwide property in Belize and the country’s first luxury resort tied to a global brand. Located on Ambergris Caye in San Pedro, the resort sits about 15 miles from the mainland and just a 10-minute drive from San Pedro Airport.
Spread across 60 acres, The Resort at Mahogany Bay Village will feature 205 cottage- and villa-style accommodations alongside private residences, club facilities, a full-service spa and well-designed public spaces. The villas emphasize local character and sustainability, built from locally and sustainably harvested hardwoods, with high ceilings and thoughtfully curated furnishings that blend comfort with regional style.
The resort’s village is designed as a lively hub for guests and residents. Planned amenities include a general store, a farmers market, craft stalls showcasing local artisans, scuba and fishing operators, concierge and tour coordination services, and a range of dining options. These on-site offerings will be complemented by easy access to more than 200 nearby restaurants and local attractions, providing visitors with a broad selection of experiences that reflect the culture and culinary scene of Ambergris Caye and Belize.
