Hilton Branson Convention Center: Events, Meetings & Amenities

Arrival/Check-In: After leaving Philadelphia International Airport at 5 a.m. (which meant a 2:30 a.m. wake-up), transferring through Chicago and then driving nearly an hour from Springfield to Branson, I was relieved to learn my room was ready before the guaranteed check-in time. The lobby was calm, and after a brief wait for the couple ahead of me, I was quickly on my way to my fifth-floor room.

Guest Quarters: My guestroom was generously sized, giving me plenty of space to spread out. Traveling for business, I unpacked right away to hang my clothes. The bathroom, located to the right of the entry, was also a comfortable size. However, I found the amenities modest and encountered an annoyance with the shower: when I tried to turn it on, it initially delivered a cold spray. I was eager to shower but was informed at check-in that there were temporary water maintenance activities during the time I planned to be in my room.

A small closet sat adjacent to the bathroom before the room opened up into the sleeping area. One large unit served as the TV stand, dresser and desk, positioned opposite a very comfortable king-sized bed flanked by nightstands with ample outlets. A sofa and coffee table occupied the corner beside the bed. Floor-to-ceiling windows ran along the exterior wall, welcoming natural light; however, the view was limited to the parking garage across the street.

Services/Amenities: I had breakfast one morning at Level 2 Steakhouse; the buffet was well stocked and included a build-your-own parfait station, which I appreciated. I overheard other guests in the lobby praising the steakhouse dinner and hoped to try the dinner menu on a future visit.

The hotel offers a pool and pool bar, though the weather during my stay was too cold to use them, and there is a fully equipped fitness center. Meeting rooms are available, and the hotel connects directly to the nearby convention center, making it convenient for conference attendees. Given Branson’s family-friendly reputation, the property also provides cribs, high chairs and a children’s menu.

Top Takeaways:
◆ The hotel is conveniently attached to the convention center, which made it easy for my conference schedule.
◆ I accidentally dropped an earring behind a large, heavy piece of furniture. Maintenance responded quickly and retrieved it without issue.
◆ The hotel sits across from Branson Landing, a lively area with shops, restaurants and entertainment.
