Get Into the Groove: Rhythm Is Gonna Get You

From Jan. 16–18, 150 musical artists will gather across 25 venues in South Walton on Florida’s Northwest Coast for the annual 30A Songwriters Festival. Headlined by Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Leon Russell and Graham Nash, the festival presents more than 200 performances over three days, plus two exclusive VIP Music & Wine Dinners crafted by award-winning chefs. Wine pairings for the dinners will be guided by wine expert Adam Caperton.

The lineup also includes the Indigo Girls, Jason Isbell, Shawn Mullins, Sara Watkins of Nickel Creek, and Glen Phillips of Toad the Wet Sprocket, among many other singer-songwriters. Performances are staged in an intimate mix of beachfront venues, clubs, and local spaces, offering attendees a chance to experience both established artists and emerging talent in closer settings than typical large-scale festivals.

A limited number of three-day passes are available at $200 per person. For those seeking a more curated experience, three-day VIP music and dinner combination tickets start at $400 per person. VIP weekend tour packages are offered for groups of two to four and include special credentials, preferred seating, chauffeured car service, and additional select perks. These exclusive packages are priced between $2,000 and $4,000.

The festival emphasizes songwriting craft and storytelling, with many performances featuring stripped-down, acoustic sets and collaborative onstage moments. Attendees can expect a relaxed atmosphere that highlights lyrical artistry and musical interplay, making the event ideal for fans who appreciate songwriting as much as performance. In addition to the scheduled concerts and dinners, the festival typically provides opportunities for informal meet-and-greets, panel discussions, and pop-up performances throughout the weekend.

Plan ahead to secure passes and VIP options, as limited availability often means early sellouts for popular artists and the more intimate dinner events. Whether you’re attending solo, with friends, or as part of a VIP group, the 30A Songwriters Festival offers a curated musical weekend on Florida’s scenic Gulf Coast, blending great food, thoughtfully paired wines, and performances that celebrate the craft of songwriting.
