Formerly known as Air Pacific, Fiji Airways has introduced a refreshed brand identity and livery and announced plans to increase services between Nadi, Fiji (NAN), and Los Angeles (LAX) this December. “We are honored to be Fiji’s flying ambassador to the world — now the Fijian experience starts the moment you enter the plane,” said Aubrey Swift, acting CEO of Fiji Airways. “From the traditional Fijian Masi artwork that adorns the tail of the aircraft, to the rich interior and dedicated crew, to the name itself, this airline proudly represents the spirit of Fijian culture and our beautiful islands.”
Currently operating six weekly flights on the Los Angeles–Nadi route, Fiji Airways will add a seventh weekly service in December, with an eighth flight planned for peak travel periods. The expansion aims to provide travelers with more flexibility and options for connecting to Fiji and the South Pacific.
The rebranding highlights elements of Fiji’s cultural heritage and natural beauty. The new livery features traditional Masi motifs on the aircraft tail, while the cabin design emphasizes warmth, comfort, and a sense of place. Fiji Airways has positioned the refreshed brand to offer an authentic, welcoming experience from check-in to arrival, reinforcing its role as a national carrier and a gateway to the islands.
