Tickets are now on sale for the 30th annual Ojai Studio Artist Tour, taking place October 12 and 13. Art enthusiasts follow a self-drive route to visit working studios, meet member artists, view works-in-progress, learn about artistic techniques and tools, and tour each artist’s creative space. The Ojai artist group includes more than 60 artists working across a broad range of disciplines, such as sculpture, jewelry, pottery, mixed media, wood, metal and painting.
General admission tickets include entry to the Gala Dessert Reception on Saturday evening and are priced at $20 for adults; children under 12 are admitted free. The reception features dancing and live music performed by the Steve McPeter’s Band. For those who prefer guided transportation, single-day Docent and Concierge tours are available with pick-up and drop-off at the Ojai Art Center: $100 per person or $175 per couple.
A portion of ticket sales supports the Ojai Studio Artists Education Outreach program and a student collegiate scholarship competition, helping to fund arts education and encourage emerging talent.
