TourCrafters is offering travelers the opportunity to extend any of the company’s European tours with a three-day, two-night Dream Package designed for a luxury driving experience through southwestern Germany.
The land-only extension is priced at $3,590 and includes an arrival transfer, a three-day Porsche rental (911 coupe or convertible), fuel, two nights at the Hotel Ritter, a €10 voucher toward a spa treatment at the hotel, a guided wine tasting, daily breakfast, two four-course dinners, two lunches, three coffee breaks with Black Forest pastries, a special touring book and a tour guide. Scheduled departures this season include June 2, 16 and 30; July 10; and September 4, 9 and 15. One-day driving tours are available for $1,490, and other deluxe vehicles such as Ferrari, Lamborghini and Mercedes can be arranged.
On day one, participants pick up their cars at the Motorworld Center near Stuttgart and set out on the autobahn before winding through the scenic Black Forest, stopping for lunch en route. The day concludes with dinner at Hotel Ritter’s dining venues, the Ritter Stube or the Ritter Keller.
Day two offers choices: stop at select wineries along the Baden Wine Route or visit the waterfalls and attractions around Triberg. Lunch is at leisure, and the evening meal is served either at the hotel or at Schloss Staufenberg.
On day three, the itinerary includes a visit to Baden-Baden, a lunch at Eberstein Castle and a visit to the historic ruins of Hirsau Monastery. Each day features a mid-morning or afternoon coffee break accompanied by traditional Black Forest pastries.
The Dream Package blends scenic driving, regional culture and fine dining with comfortable accommodations and expert guidance, making it a concentrated, luxury complement to any longer European itinerary.
