Starting Tuesday, July 16, 2019, Aeroméxico will begin flights to its third Colombian destination, Cali. The route will be served four times weekly with a Boeing 737-700, offering 124 seats, including 12 in Clase Premier, the airline’s business-class cabin. Aeroméxico opened services to Bogotá in 2010 and to Medellín in 2015, and has maintained operations in South America for over two decades.

Santiago de Cali, nestled in the Cauca River Valley, is celebrated as a global center of salsa music and is surrounded by productive sugarcane fields and livestock farms. As one of Colombia’s three largest cities, Cali draws many visitors with its lively culture, historic streets, parks, monuments and nearby natural attractions. Local cuisine is a highlight: try the fruit-based dessert called cholada, the spiced tropical drink champus, cheese-stuffed plantains and savory pork cutlets. Beyond sights and flavors, travelers often praise Cali for the warmth and joy of its people.
