Delta Connection: Flight Routes, Schedules, and Airport Guide

Delta Air Lines is expanding its Diamond Medallion Porsche transfer service to New York’s LaGuardia Airport, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and Detroit Metropolitan Airport. The service, which began as a pilot program at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in 2011, was later extended to Los Angeles (LAX), New York (JFK) and Minneapolis–St. Paul (MSP) in 2013.

“Our Diamond Medallion customers expect us to have their backs when they fly with us, and we’re always pushing the limits of how to transform potential moments of anxiety into opportunities for a great experience that solidifies their loyalty to Delta,” said Cheryl Scheck, Delta Air Lines’ director of customer experience. “Our ongoing partnership with Porsche gives us hundreds of chances to help save the day by offering unexpected pick-ups in a distinctive vehicle, creating a memorable arrival to their destination.”

Delta operates a fleet of 19 Porsche vehicles dedicated to transporting customers quickly between connecting gates. The transfer service is not available on request; it is offered selectively to Diamond Medallion members based on operational factors such as the day’s flight schedule, connection times and individual member status.

The expansion reflects Delta’s effort to provide seamless, efficient connections for its top-tier members while delivering a premium, surprise-and-delight experience during the travel journey. By coordinating vehicle availability with flight operations, Delta aims to reduce connection stress and shorten transfer times for eligible passengers, particularly when gate-to-gate distances or tight connection windows could otherwise create delays.

Members chosen for the Porsche transfer receive a complimentary, expedited transfer between gates, handled by trained staff to ensure safety and punctuality. This selective service complements other Delta initiatives designed to enhance the travel experience for frequent flyers, reinforcing the airline’s focus on convenience, customer care and personalized service for its highest-tier members.
