Delta Air Lines launches new service between New York LaGuardia (LGA) and Chattanooga (CHA) beginning July 9. The route is operated with a CRJ-900 featuring 12 first-class, 20 Delta Comfort+ and 44 economy seats. Inflight WiFi is available for passengers.
The Chattanooga departure is scheduled at 7:05 a.m., arriving in New York at 9:30 a.m., Monday through Saturday. Return service operates Sunday through Friday, leaving New York at 8:20 p.m. and arriving in Chattanooga at 10:55 p.m.
“New York continues to be the top destination for our travelers,” said Terry Hart, president of Chattanooga Airport. “We appreciate Delta Air Lines’ continued confidence and support, and this will take us to new heights over and above the 16 percent record-breaking growth we had last year.”
Beginning July 8, Delta also introduces nonstop service between Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) and Salt Lake City (SLC). Salt Lake City becomes the airline’s eighth nonstop destination from Cleveland.
The CLE–SLC route is served with an Airbus A319 offering 12 first-class, 18 Delta Comfort+ and 102 economy seats. Free in-flight streaming entertainment and WiFi are available onboard.
Flights depart Cleveland at 8:30 a.m., arriving in Salt Lake City at 10:25 a.m. Return departures leave Salt Lake City at 5:00 p.m., arriving in Cleveland at 10:50 p.m.
“We are thrilled to welcome nonstop service between SLC and Cleveland,” said Bill Wyatt, executive director of the Salt Lake City Department of Airports. “This new service helps to fill the gap in service between the Midwest and Utah, providing Clevelanders ease of access in time to enjoy the state’s national parks and many other outdoor events and activities Salt Lake City offers our summer visitors.”
Robert Kennedy, director of Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, added: “We are thrilled that Delta Air Lines has chosen to add to their service offerings at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport with the launch of this service. Daily nonstop Salt Lake City service will also provide an opportunity for travelers to connect to additional destinations on the West Coast through Delta’s Salt Lake City hub, opening up more opportunities for passengers throughout northeast Ohio.”
These new routes expand Delta’s regional connectivity, offering convenient schedules and onboard amenities such as WiFi and streaming entertainment. Travelers can expect a mix of premium and economy seating across both aircraft types, with daily connections designed to support both leisure and business travel between these growing markets.
