Del Mar Beach Hotel in Del Mar, California, will reopen this June following a multimillion-dollar redesign.
The beachside boutique hotel features 46 guest rooms and suites, plus two private residences — The Beach House and The Bungalow. The redesign blends Mediterranean and California coastal influences, using light wood accents, ocean-inspired artwork, warm beiges and blue tones throughout the property. Each room includes a headboard mural depicting a coastal scene. Frette provides guestroom linens and bathrobes. International interior design firm Parisi Portfolio managed the renovation.

“We can’t wait to welcome guests to our sophisticated coastal oasis here at Del Mar Beach Hotel,” said Ryan White, general manager. “Our elevated beachside retreat offers something for everyone, whether guests come to reconnect with each other, to find solitude, or to enjoy one of Southern California’s most beautiful beach towns.”
Guests receive a welcome glass of wine at check-in and can use complimentary beach cruisers to explore the neighborhood. The hotel will introduce new programming including beachfront movies, stargazing events and fitness classes.
Nightly rates begin at $399. A second phase of the property’s transformation is scheduled to debut later this year.
