Curio Collection by Hilton Launches in the United Arab Emirates

Curio – A Collection by Hilton is set to debut its first hotel in the United Arab Emirates with the launch of the Rosemont Hotel and Residences, a striking two-tower development scheduled to open in 2018. Positioned on Dubai’s prominent Sheikh Zayed Road, the property will feature 450 guestrooms and 280 serviced apartments, combining luxury accommodation with convenient access to the city’s major attractions.

Introduced in June 2014, the Curio collection showcases a curated selection of upscale and luxury hotels chosen for their distinctive character and local personality. The brand has expanded rapidly, with early openings across the Americas—including properties in Las Vegas and Buenos Aires—and in Europe with the iconic Reichshof Hamburg Hotel. The addition of the Rosemont Hotel and Residences reinforces Curio’s strategy to increase its presence in the Middle East. The brand’s regional expansion also includes the upcoming Curio – A Collection by Hilton Mall of Qatar, scheduled to open next year.

Dubai’s hospitality sector remains one of the world’s most dynamic markets, attracting leisure and business travelers with diverse offerings and high-quality service. By adding a Curio property to its portfolio of hotels in the UAE, Hilton underscores the Emirates’ strong appeal and the opportunity to deliver culturally resonant, upscale experiences for international guests. The Rosemont development aims to blend distinctive design and local influence with the global standards associated with Hilton’s Curio collection.

“Dubai’s vibrant hospitality sector continues to grow at an impressive pace, firmly earning its position as a highly desirable destination for global travelers. We continue to see huge potential in the market, and to add a Curio property to our portfolio of 35 hotels either trading or under development in the U.A.E. is our global recognition of the Emirates’ unique ability to further build a compelling and cultured offering to attract visitors from around the world,” said Rudi Jagersbacher, president, Middle East and Africa, Hilton Worldwide.
