For the third consecutive year, The Yeatman, a Relais & Châteaux luxury wine hotel in Porto, Portugal, will host its acclaimed Route of the Stars. This year’s edition brings together 14 top international chefs who will celebrate haute cuisine alongside the best of Portuguese wines.

Route of the Stars is a traveling gastronomic event held across premier restaurants in Portugal. It gathers Michelin-starred chefs from many countries, giving guests the chance to taste a variety of exceptional dishes in a single sitting. The festival not only lets diners experience the creativity of renowned chefs, but also gives chefs a stage to demonstrate their techniques and present exclusive, inspired menus in distinctive venues.

The 2015 Route of the Stars takes place over three nights, June 5–7, and features seven Portuguese chefs alongside seven international guests. Highlights of the program include:

  • Dine With The Chefs (June 5): Guests enjoy a tasting menu with a chef seated at each table, while Portuguese wines from leading producers are carefully paired with every course.
  • Kitchen Party (June 6): An energetic evening where chefs perform “show cooking” in the dining room, offering live demonstrations and interactive experiences.
  • Grand Finale (June 7): A special finale featuring Michelin two-star chefs Dieter Koschina (Restaurant Vila Joya, Algarve, Portugal) and Erlantz Gorostiza (Restaurant MB, Tenerife), joined by Michelin three-star Chef Juan Amador (Restaurant Amador, Mannheim, Germany). The evening promises exceptional cuisine paired with outstanding Portuguese wines.

The Yeatman’s Route of the Stars is an opportunity to explore contemporary gastronomy while discovering the depth and variety of Portugal’s wine culture. Each evening is designed to balance bold culinary vision with locally inspired pairings, creating memorable meals that highlight both technique and terroir.
