Luxury Santorini hospitality brand Canaves Collection has launched a new immersive program, Harvest & Heritage, available for the 2026 season. Designed to connect guests with local artisans, producers and guides, the program offers authentic, hands-on experiences that celebrate Santorini’s culture, food and craftsmanship.
The program’s curated experiences include:
Archaeological and Culinary Tour
Led by Santorini native Eugenia Liodaki, this guided walk explores the island’s most iconic archaeological sites with thoughtfully chosen stops to sample traditional local delicacies. The route combines history and flavor, giving guests context for the island’s culture while tasting regional specialties.

Hands-on Clay Workshops
Guests visit a working ceramics studio for a practical pottery session led by fourth-generation potter Andreas Makaris. The workshop covers clay basics and traditional techniques with hands-on instruction. Sessions are conducted in Greek with translation provided to ensure an authentic and accessible experience.
Field-to-Table Cooking Class
At Aroma Avlis inside the Artemis Karamolegos Winery, participants take part in a field-to-table cooking class using ingredients harvested from the estate and nearby family farms. The class focuses on classic Greek recipes and seasonal produce, highlighting local flavors and sustainable practices.
Private Photography Session
A photographer from the family-run Kapetanakis Studios leads a tailored photography session that visits lesser-known viewpoints and scenic spots. The experience is scheduled to capture optimal light and composition, offering practical guidance on framing and technique while showcasing Santorini’s unique landscapes.

Sea-to-Table Culinary Journey
Local seafarer Konstantinos “Kostas” Papalexopoulos accompanies guests along the Aegean to Armeni Restaurant, a longstanding Santorini institution. Visitors observe the day’s catch arriving with local fishermen, choose a fish, and watch as the chefs prepare and present the meal—an immediate and immersive connection between sea, harvest and table.
Harvest & Heritage is offered across Canaves Collection’s four Santorini properties: Canaves Ena, Canaves Oia Suites, Canaves Sunday and Canaves Epitome. Each experience emphasizes local knowledge, traditional techniques and meaningful encounters intended to deepen appreciation for Santorini’s cultural and culinary heritage.
