Burj Al Arab has unveiled the highly anticipated Burj Al Arab Terrace, an exclusive waterfront destination combining dining, pools, beach and private cabanas. Carefully engineered and assembled to preserve the coastal environment and guest experience, the terrace extends over 100,000 square feet out into the sea and offers a refined setting for relaxation and socializing.
Constructed by marine specialists ADMARES, the terrace was fabricated in a controlled shipyard environment in Finland and transported to Dubai in eight modular sections. This modular approach minimized disruption to marine life and on-site activities while allowing precise quality control during fabrication. Once delivered, the sections were joined to form a seamless platform that complements the iconic silhouette of Burj Al Arab.
The new space houses Scape Restaurant & Bar, two infinity pools, dedicated cabanas with full butler service, Jacuzzis and a beach area equipped with sunbeds. Scape Restaurant & Bar presents a contemporary Californian-fusion menu created by chef Timur Fazilov, designed to pair fresh ingredients with relaxed, elegant flavors suited to the coastal setting. Dining options range from light, shareable plates to more substantial meals, all curated to match the terrace’s laid-back, upscale atmosphere.
Pool facilities include one freshwater and one saltwater infinity pool, complemented by four Jacuzzis and a swim-up bar, providing multiple options for guests who prefer tranquil lounging or social poolside experiences. The design emphasizes seamless indoor-outdoor living with careful attention to sightlines and privacy, allowing guests to enjoy panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf and Dubai’s skyline.
The terrace’s aesthetic takes inspiration from the sail-like form of Burj Al Arab, using a refined palette of earth tones and white accents. High-quality glass, handcrafted lighting installations and premium finishes create a cohesive, luxurious environment that enhances natural light and coastal breezes. The overall design balances contemporary luxury with a calm, beachside sensibility.
There are 32 air-conditioned cabanas positioned for optimal views of Palm Jumeirah, the terrace and the Dubai skyline. Each cabana accommodates up to four guests and includes dedicated butler service, a tailored dining and beverage menu, a spa menu for in-cabana treatments, and fully stocked minibars. Additional amenities include fresh fruit, espresso machines, premium audio-visual entertainment and a curated rotation of amenities to ensure each visit feels fresh and well-appointed.
