British Airways has launched a new mobile app for members of its Executive Club frequent-flyer program. Called Reward, the app is available for both Apple and Android devices.
Reward gives Executive Club members quick, convenient access to key account features, including:
- Viewing account details and electronic statements
- Checking the five most recent transactions
- Browsing the latest Avios offers and promotions
- Seeing how many Avios are needed to book reward flights to a range of destinations
- Purchasing Avios directly through the app
- Accessing and shopping via the British Airways Avios eStore
The Reward app is intended to complement the existing British Airways app, providing a focused experience for managing Avios and Executive Club activity. British Airways has said additional features will be added over time to expand the app’s functionality.
“We want to offer members more choice in how they interact with the British Airways Executive Club,” said Carolina Martinoli, director of brand and customer experience at British Airways.
“The app makes it easier for members to manage their balances and stay informed about new ways to collect and spend Avios worldwide. Tools such as the ability to check how many Avios are required for reward flights should help members get the most value from their balances.”
