Founded in 1965, BABOR is recognized for advancing modern skincare with innovative formulations, effective treatment protocols and curated wellness experiences. The collaboration brings BABOR’s premium treatments and clinically driven products to the historic Asheville retreat, adding specialized facial and grooming services to the spa menu.
New BABOR treatments now available at The Spa include:
- The 110-minute Ultimate Facial with SeaCreation ($500) uses thermo-active cell protection derived from thermophilous micro-organisms found near sea volcanoes. Offered at only a select number of spas in North America, this facial targets cellular stress and free radicals to help protect and rejuvenate skin.
- The 80-minute ReVersive Facial ($270) employs a high-performance formula with four active ingredients designed to restore radiance and improve skin luminosity, addressing the visible signs of aging.
- The 80-minute Gentlemen’s Facial ($195) blends restorative massage techniques to reduce tension with BABOR’s TAUREC complex, a targeted blend featuring energizing taurine, soothing hops and regenerating Siberian ginseng tailored for male skin.

Opened in 2001 at a cost of $50 million, The Spa at The Omni Grove Park Inn is a 43,000-square-foot subterranean sanctuary that integrates natural elements such as mineral water, daylight and sculpted rock formations. The design features cavernous rock walls, arches and tunnels and includes two therapeutic waterfall pools and a lap pool illuminated by 6,500 fiber-optic stars with accompanying underwater music, creating a serene environment for relaxation and wellness.
