Mexico’s new Grand Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta resort has joined the Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) portfolio. Opened in September, the beachfront property sits beneath the scenic Sierra Madre Mountains and looks out over the Pacific Ocean. It marks ALHI’s first member resort in Puerto Vallarta and its sixth luxury addition in Mexico.
The resort offers 443 contemporary, well-appointed suites, many with Pacific Ocean views and private balconies. For meetings and events, there are 10 flexible meeting rooms with a combined 12,787 square feet of space, capable of accommodating up to 1,300 guests. Onsite amenities include a full-service spa, a fitness center, seven restaurants, five bars and four themed lounges, providing a range of dining and leisure experiences.
Situated approximately five minutes from Puerto Vallarta’s historic downtown and the famed Malecón boardwalk, the resort provides easy access to a vibrant collection of shops, restaurants and art galleries. Outdoor and adventure activities in the surrounding area include visiting the iconic rock formation Arcos de Vallarta, rainforest hikes, rappelling and ziplining through the jungle. Puerto Vallarta International Airport is about 20 minutes away, making the resort conveniently accessible for travelers.
