Malaysia Airlines has introduced a new benefit to its Enrich frequent-flyer program: a “miles accelerator” that lets members buy miles or top up an existing miles balance.
Members can purchase a minimum of 1,000 Enrich miles and up to 50,000 miles per transaction, with an annual cap of 150,000 purchased Enrich miles per member.
Purchased miles are available for immediate use. Members can redeem them for award flights on Malaysia Airlines, oneworld alliance carriers and Enrich partner airlines. Miles can also be used for seat upgrades, in-flight shopping and access to airport lounges.
“Enrich is excited to bring this accelerator feature to our members that gives them the flexibility and more options in accumulating miles. We are proud to be introducing this service via our partnership with Loylogic, in our continuous efforts to enhance our offerings to our members. With the Enrich Buy Miles platform, nearly four million Enrich members are now able to top-up their Enrich Miles balance online with just a few clicks, at their own convenience, at any time any day. This empowers our members to have more control over their rewards experience and enjoy more of what Enrich has to offer,” said Lau Yin May, head of customer experience at Malaysia Airlines.
To mark the launch, Enrich members receive a 30 percent bonus on purchased miles for transactions completed through July 31.
