What is the most important item you take when traveling? First, a sense of humor. After that, my smartphone and a sport coat.
How do you spend your time on board? I collect articles from newspapers and magazines to read while traveling. I don’t force myself to work constantly; I allow time to relax and recharge.
What is your favorite restaurant in the world? I enjoy sampling local flavors wherever I go — from food carts to restaurants — as long as the food reflects the region’s traditions.
What is your favorite destination in the world? Latin America — most recently Peru and Colombia, which offer rich culture, history and cuisine.
