This year’s GT Tested Reader Survey awards, held in Coral Gables, Florida, honored the travel industry leaders chosen by readers. Several winners reached milestone statuses for consistently delivering exceptional service and products to travelers year after year—a difficult achievement to sustain. Global Traveler bestows Quint Status on brands that win the same category five years in a row.
Two recipients earned Quint Status this year. Hall of Fame status recognizes brands that win the same category 10 consecutive years, and several winners are aiming for that milestone in 2026.
Three recipients achieved Crystal Status this year for topping their categories 15 years in a row. Last year, IHG One Rewards received Global Traveler’s first-ever Platinum Award for 20 consecutive years as Best Hotel Rewards Program in the World; this year it extends that streak to a 21st consecutive win in the same category.

TAP Air Portugal attains Crystal Status as Best Airline in Europe for the 15th consecutive year. The airline has expanded its services and route network, upgraded amenities and cabin offerings, and this year launched three new routes from the United States. It also ranked among the world’s top 25 safest airlines according to industry safety assessments and celebrated its 80th anniversary.
The Peninsula Beverly Hills secures Crystal Status after being named Best Hotel in the United States for 15 straight years. This iconic Los Angeles luxury property has long been admired for its elegant guestrooms and suites, extensive spa, three restaurants and refined bar, making it a favorite among both travelers and locals.

Fiesta Americana Travelty Collection is the third brand to reach Crystal Status, winning Best Hotel Chain in Mexico for the 15th consecutive year. Backed by Grupo Posadas, the brand experienced significant growth this year and reported occupancy rates above the market average. Enrique Calderón Fernández, COO and vice president of Grupo Posadas, was also recognized as Best Hotel Industry Leader in the 2025 Industry Leader Awards.

In the Quint Status category, Hertz earned its fifth consecutive win as Best Rental Car Company. Earlier this year Hertz also received its eighth straight award for Best Leisure Car Rental at the 2025 Leisure Lifestyle Awards. Hertz Business Rewards remains a strong offering for corporate clients, awarding one credit per qualified paid rental day and a free rental certificate after 15 credits. Hertz also participates in the Delta Business Traveler program, which grants members perks such as complimentary Hertz Five Star status.
