Winter 2013–14: Increased capacity to Shannon and the West of Ireland
Starting January 20, 2014, Aer Lingus doubled frequency and restored year-round service to Shannon from New York and Boston. Connections with JetBlue in both cities expand access to the west of Ireland from more than 30 U.S. locations, offering greater convenience for travelers heading to County Clare and the surrounding regions.
Spring 2014: New direct services from San Francisco and Toronto to Ireland
San Francisco
From April 2, 2014, Aer Lingus began operating five weekly flights from San Francisco to Dublin Airport. This route provides strong onward connections via United in the U.S. and through Aer Lingus’ European network, making travel between the West Coast and Ireland straightforward and well-connected.
Toronto
Service from Toronto launched April 21, 2014, offering daily flights in the summer and three flights per week in the winter. With a large Irish community in Toronto and across Canada, these year-round flights make visiting the Emerald Isle more accessible for leisure and family travel.
