Dusit Opens First U.S. Hotel: What Travelers Need to Know

Dusit International has launched its Dusit brand in the United States with the opening of dusitD2 Constance Pasadena, located in the heart of Pasadena’s Central Business District and within walking distance of many of the city’s main attractions.

“We are delighted to enter the United States with this distinctive property in Pasadena’s growing city center, part of the dynamic Los Angeles region,” said Chanin Donavanik, managing director and chief executive officer of Dusit International. “We look forward to bringing Dusit’s tradition of warm, uplifting guest experiences to this exciting U.S. market.”

The dusitD2 Constance Pasadena features 136 guestrooms and suites appointed with contemporary décor and modern, tech-friendly amenities. Dining options include D2 restaurant and d’bar, which offer menus focused on locally sourced ingredients, Asian-inspired flavors, and handcrafted cocktails. The hotel’s amenities plan also includes the future addition of 25 club-level guestrooms with access to a private club lounge, a rooftop pool with an outdoor sundeck and pool bar, a fitness center, two boardrooms, and new retail and dining outlets scheduled for completion in 2016.

Positioned to serve both business and leisure travelers, the hotel benefits from its central location in Pasadena’s vibrant downtown. Guests can easily reach cultural destinations, shopping, dining, and entertainment on foot, while enjoying the comfort and contemporary style that define the dusitD2 brand. With a strong focus on locally influenced cuisine and thoughtfully designed public spaces, the property aims to reflect the neighborhood’s character while delivering the attentive service Dusit International is known for.

As Dusit expands its presence in the U.S., dusitD2 Constance Pasadena represents the brand’s first step into a market that blends urban energy with a close-knit community feel. The hotel’s combination of modern guest rooms, culinary offerings, and planned amenities—such as the rooftop pool and club-level accommodations—positions it as a new hospitality option for visitors to Pasadena and the greater Los Angeles area.
