Tauck’s 12-day Rhythms of Brazil: Rio to Iguazu Falls (from $6,140 per person, land only) starts with three nights at the iconic Belmond Copacabana Palace on Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro. The program includes visits to Tijuca Forest, the world’s largest urban forest, and Corcovado Hill for sweeping views of the city and the famous Christ the Redeemer statue. A short flight takes guests to Minas Gerais for two nights in Ouro Preto, a historic colonial town shaped by the 18th-century gold rush; guided visits there highlight the opera house, the Matriz de Nossa Senhora do Pilar church and regional cultural museums. The itinerary continues with three nights in Salvador to enjoy its striking Portuguese colonial architecture and lively cultural scene.
