The art of cruising has become even more refined with the introduction of new spa suites aboard Seabourn cruise ships.
The specially designed penthouse spa suites will debut in May when Seabourn Quest returns from a scheduled dry dock. Located directly above the Spa at Seabourn, these suites provide direct access to the spa lobby via a private spiral staircase. Similar spa suites will be added to Seabourn Odyssey and Seabourn Sojourn during their upcoming dry dock periods.
“Some of our guests have expressed a desire to incorporate a more complete spa vacation experience into their cruises, and our Penthouse Spa Suites are designed to fulfill that wish,” said Richard Meadows, president of Seabourn.
There are four penthouse spa suites, each ranging from 516 to 538 square feet. All feature a private veranda, separate living and dining areas with seating for four, a separate bedroom, a walk-in closet, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a bathroom equipped with a tub and a spa shower. The layout is intended to blend luxurious accommodations with convenient, immediate access to onboard spa amenities.
By placing these suites adjacent to the spa and linking them with a spiral staircase, Seabourn aims to provide guests a seamless wellness-focused experience: from private relaxation in the suite to treatments and facilities at the Spa at Seabourn without the need to navigate public corridors or elevators. This design responds to growing interest among travelers for immersive spa-centered escapes that combine luxury lodging with dedicated wellness services.
Beyond the suite amenities, guests staying in the penthouse spa suites can expect the same attentive service and high standards Seabourn is known for, ensuring a calm and restorative cruise environment. The suites’ verandas and floor-to-ceiling windows also emphasize views and natural light, complementing the restorative intent of the spa facilities.
The rollout begins with Seabourn Quest in May, with Seabourn Odyssey and Seabourn Sojourn to receive the same enhancements during their next scheduled dry dock periods. These additions underscore Seabourn’s focus on upscale, wellness-oriented offerings for travelers seeking an elevated cruise experience.
