National Car Rental is expanding its nationwide fleet with a selection of 2016 models that include several premium options, such as the Fiat 500X crossover, Lincoln MKX and Chevrolet Camaro.
These vehicles will be added to the Emerald Aisle, a dedicated section of the lot available to Emerald Club members. Members can bypass the rental counter and choose any car in the Emerald Aisle provided they book under a mid-size car reservation, giving frequent travelers more control and convenience when they pick up a vehicle.
“National offers some of the most exciting vehicles in the automobile industry to our Emerald Club members, providing unsurpassed choice, control and convenience for their frequent travels,” said Rob Connors, vice president of brand marketing at National Car Rental. He also noted the company’s appreciation for its manufacturer partners for supplying a premium selection for customers.
In early 2016, National plans to introduce BMW and Audi models into its Premier Selection. Like the Emerald Aisle, the Premier Selection lets customers upgrade on the spot without visiting the rental counter, offering an elevated rental experience for those who want an upgrade at pickup.
National Car Rental’s fleet currently features more than 350 makes and models across its locations nationwide, ensuring a wide variety of choices to suit different needs, from economy and compact cars to luxury and specialty vehicles.
